The law firm of ​Benjamin, Gold, & Troyb, P.C. is pleased to announce that Michelle A. Ross has joined the firm as Of Counsel.  After ten years practicing in immigration law Attorney Ross has joined the firm to lead its business immigration and corporate compliance practice.  

​Attorney Ross joined the firm after practicing for seven years with a boutique business immigration law firm in Wilton, CT.  Her practice focuses on employment based immigration law and corporate immigration compliance matters. Attorney Ross represents businesses ranging from large multinational corporations to small start-up companies and individual entrepreneurs on a full spectrum of immigration benefit petitions and compliance matters.

Attorney Ross graduated cum laude from Smith College in 2005, with a B.A. in both Government and Dance. She graduated magna cum laude from Pace Law School in 2010, with a J.D. and a Certificate of Concentration in International Law. While in law school Attorney Ross served as a student attorney with the John Jay Legal Services Inc., Immigration Justice Clinic. She was awarded the Excellence in Clinical Education award for her work representing immigrants as a student attorney with the clinic. 

After graduating law school Attorney Ross worked for the Connecticut Judicial Branch as a law clerk for Superior Court judges in the Office of Legal Research. She also previously practiced immigration law with the Viana Law Firm, P.C. in Manhattan and served as Of Counsel with the law firm of Pollock & Maguire, LLP in White Plains, NY. Most recently, Attorney Ross practiced immigration law with the Roberts Immigration Law Group, LLC.

Ms. Ross is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and New York and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Fairfield County Bar Association (FCBA) where she currently serves as the Chair of the Immigration Law Committee.

From 2018 to 2020, Ms. Ross served on the Board of Governors of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and also served as the Chair of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (CT AILA).  During her tenure as CT AILA Chapter Chair the chapter was awarded the Bronze Chapter Excellence Award.

Attorney Ross has been invited to speak at various engagements and seminars including the 2020 AILA National Conference, and numerous events for CT AILA and the Connecticut Bar Association.
